The protection of your privacy when processing personal data as well as the security of all business data are important issues to us, which we consider in our business processes.

2. Personal data
Personal data is data about your person. This includes your name, telephone, e-mail, address, IP address, location data and log files.
You do not have to reveal any personal data to visit our website. In some cases we require your name and address as well as other information in order to provide you with requested services.
The same applies in case we supply you with requested information material or when we reply to your enquiry. In addition, we only store data you transfered to us automatically or voluntarily.
When you use one of our services, we generally only gather data necessary to provide you our service. Potentially we will ask you for further information on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial goals.
3. Processing purposes and legal bases
3.1 The Data is collected for the following purposes:
- To deal with Users' request for information or question and communicate efficiently with them, in the following fields: press relations, human resources (apart from submission of applications), supplier relations, or to answer any other Users' questions, whether or not it is related to a current contract.
- To send commercial communications to the User in relation to the main interests he or she has previously expressed.
- To manage access to certain Services and their use.
Compulsory fields to be filled in on the contact form are marked by an asterisk. If the compulsory fields are not filled in, NordiTube will be unable to answer your request.
3.2 The legal basis for processing the Users' Data
Data processing is only lawful if it is carried out on one of the legal basis defined by the Regulations. The legal basis of the data processing carried out in connection with the Website's operation are the following:
- If the User is a supplier: the contract or the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
- If the User is an applicant (or potential applicant): the legitimate interest of NordiTube to answer the request of the applicant/potential applicant.
- If the User is a journalist, consumer or any other person: their consent obtained by means of the checkbox.
- If the User is a professional prospect wishing to receive information or make requests about the activities and services offered by NordiTube in relation to the specific needs previously expressed, or if the User is already a customer of NordiTube: the legitimate interest of NordiTube.
- If the User is a prospect (professional or not), NordiTube collects his consent by means of a check box before sending any global information via commercial communications.
4. Duration of storage, retention periods
We store your data for as long as is necessary to provide our website and the associated services or for as long as we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store your data. In all other cases we delete your personal data except for such data that we are obliged to store in order to fulfill legal obligations.
5. Data transfer to other controllers
In general, your personal data will only be transferred to other controllers if this is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract, if we or the third party have a legitimate interest in the transfer, or if you have given your consent.
Additionally, data may be transferred to other controllers if we are obliged to do so by law or by enforceable official or court order.
6. Data transfer to service providers
We involve external service providers with tasks such as sales and marketing services, contract management, payment handling, programming, data hosting, and hotline services. We have carefully selected these service providers and monitor them regularly, in particular their careful handling and safeguarding of the data stored with them. All service providers are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the statutory provisions. Service providers may also be other companies from the NordiTube Group.
7. Data transfer to recipients worldwide
We may transfer personal data to recipients into third countries worldwide. In such cases, we ensure before the transfer that either the data recipient provides an adequate level of data protection or that your consent to the transfer has been obtained.
8. Automatically saved data
When you visit our website, our web server saves the IP address assigned to you by your internet service provider, the website you have visited us from, the pages you have visited on our site as well as the date and duration of you visit, by default. This information is mandatory for the technical transfer of the web pages and for a safe operation of the server. A personalised analysis of this data does not occur.
Every time you use the internet, certain information is automatically transmitted by your internet browser and stored in log files.
Log files are stored by us for the purpose of investigating service disruptions and for security reasons (e.g., to clarify attempted attacks) for a period of 90 days. Log files whose further storage is necessary for the purpose of evidence are exempt from deletion until the final clarification of the respective incident and may be passed on to investigative authorities in individual cases.
The following information is stored in the log files:
– IP address (internet protocol address) of the end device from which our website is accessed;
– Internet address of the website from which our website was accessed (origin or referrer URL);
– name of the service provider used to access the website;
– name of the files or information retrieved;
– date and time as well as duration of the retrieval;
– amount of data transferred;
– operating system and information on the Internet browser used, including installed add-ons (e.g., for Flash Player);
– HTTP status code (e.g., “request successful” or “requested file not found”).
9.1 Use of cookies and other technologies
In the course of providing our website, cookies and other technologies may be used that either store information on your terminal equipment or gain access to information stored on your terminal equipment.
Cookies are small text files that can be stored on your end device when you visit a website.
The use of our website is generally possible without cookies that are not technically necessary.
9.2 Technically necessary cookies

Upon clicking on the link, we have no influence on the collecting, processing, and use of personal data possibly transmitted by clicking on the link to the third party (such as the IP address or the URL of the site on which the link is located) as the conduct of third parties is beyond our control. We do not assume responsibility for the processing of personal data by third parties.
11. Assertion of your rights
Please use the information in the “12. Contact” section to assert your rights. When doing so, please ensure that we can clearly identify you.
At any time, you have a right of access and a right to rectification, to erasure or to restriction of the processing regarding your saved data, as well as a right to object to the processing, a right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint, in accordance with the conditions of data protection law.
11.1 Right of access
You may demand information from us concerning whether and to what extent we are processing your data.
11.2 Right to rectification
If we are processing your data that is incomplete or incorrect, you may demand at any time that we rectify or complete it.
11.3 Right to erasure
You may demand that we delete your data if we are processing it unlawfully or if the processing interferes disproportionately with your legitimate protection interests. Please note that there may be reasons opposing an immediate erasure, e.g. in the event of statutory storage obligations.
Independently of you exercising your right to erasure, we will delete your data immediately and in full if there is no contractual or statutory storage obligation that contradicts this.
11.4 Right to restriction of processing
You may demand from us a restriction of the processing of your data if
- you are disputing the accuracy of the data, for a period which allows us to verify the accuracy of the data;
- the processing of the data is unlawful and you refuse a deletion, instead demanding a restriction of the use of the data;

11.5 Right to data portability
You may demand that we make your data, which you provided to us, available to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and that you can transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that
- we process this data on the basis of revocable consent granted by you or for the performance of a contract between us, and
- this processing is carried out by automated means.
Where technically feasible, you may demand that your data be transmitted directly from us to another controller.
11.6 Right to object
If we are processing your data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object to this processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing at any time without providing reasons.
